A board-certified physician with extensive training in both emergency and family medicine, Dr. Madhavi Madhurapantula completed her medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM). She then pursued an emergency medicine residency, followed by an additional residency training in family medicine. Dr. Madhavi Madhurapantula has worked in a variety of health care settings, ranging from high-pressure emergency rooms to community-based family practices.
Dr. Madhurapantula has worked as a physician at institutions such as St. Barnabas Hospital, Urban Health Plan, and Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center. At Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, she managed acute and chronic conditions while emphasizing preventive care. She later served as an attending emergency care physician at Geisinger, where she was also a team lead, overseeing complex medical cases and serving as a liaison between medical staff and administration. Her professional experience also includes occupational medicine, including undertaking Department of Transportation evaluations and workers' compensation cases, which she managed during her tenure at Care Now Urgent Care. Most recently, she served as a clinic lead at Village Medical.
Dr. Madhurapantula is committed to community service and animal welfare. Passionate about animal rescue, she has adopted several shelter pets and volunteered at local animal shelters. She is also an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hiking.
